Forward Nichelle Prince and defenders Lindsay Agnew and Allysha Chapman have been named to the Canadian Women’s National Team roster ahead of the team’s first friendlies of the new year. The CanWNT will travel to Europe to take on Switzerland on January 17 and Norway on January 22. Canada enters 2019 having qualified for this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup after finishing second in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship.
Prince scored a goal and tallied two assists in 20 appearances for the Houston this season. The forward was also a nominee for the 2018 CONCACAF Best XI – Forward.
