The Houston Dash have signed forward Jamia Fields and midfielder Christine Nairn to one-year extension contracts through 2021, the Club announced today. Nairn holds a club option year through 2022.
Fields, who was acquired by the Dash in the 2019 preseason, logged four appearances during the 2020 Challenge Cup run and 2020 Verizon Community Shield with the Dash. In the 2019 season, Fields made five starts in 16 appearances as part of Houston’s attacking squad. The California native brings international experience after spending the 2018 season in Norway’s Avaldsnes IL.
The 27-year-old started her professional career after spending a decorated four-year collegiate career at Florida State University where she scored the game-winning goal to give the first national title in program history.
