The Houston Dash opened a stretch of three games in eight days with a 3-1 defeat to Seattle Reign FC this evening at Memorial Stadium.
Dash defender Amber Brooks gave Houston an early lead in the 12th minute off of a corner kick when her header beat Reign goalkeeper Lydia Williams at the near post. Midfielder Sofia Huerta's corner kick found Brooks for her first goal of the season and third with the club.
Huerta won the corner after she forced a save with a shot from the edge of the box that was punched over the crossbar by Williams.
