Preseason training is well underway for the Dash and this week it will pick up steam as they prepare for season number four under coach Randy Waldrum.
The Dash defeated Baylor, 2-0, in their preseason opener Sunday night in Plano. Kealia Ohai scored in the first half and Amber Munerlyn in the second half.
Waldrum said he was generally pleased with the performance.
"We got what we needed," Waldrum said. "We played against a team that is very direct and physical. We had to cope with that a little bit. The play overall, I would categorize it as sloppy for a first preseason game.
