Seattle Reign FC defeated the Houston Dash 2-0 in a preseason friendly at Provide Park.
The first goal of the game came in the 37th minute when Seattle FW Beverly Yanez shot towards the far post, a deflection redirected the ball to the near post for the forward’s first goal of the preseason.
Seattle DF Kiersten Dallstream scored in the 82nd minute from 12 yards away. Lydia Williams made contact with the ball but the velocity drove the ball into the back of the net.
Rachel Daly had the first scoring opportunity of the game.
