Camille Levin's first experience with professional soccer in the United States could not have been worse.
As a senior at Stanford, Levin was picked No. 4 overall by Sky Blue FC in the 2012 Women's Professional Soccer draft. She was excited to begin her career but had the rug pulled out from under her a few weeks later when the WPS folded.
Five years later, the newest Dash player will get a first-hand look at how far women's pro soccer in the U.S. has come.
Levin and the Dash will make their national television debut on Saturday when they face the Chicago Red Stars at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill.
