Randy Waldrum did not even need to see the fifth goal go in to know the Dash were living a nightmare before bedtime Saturday night in Seattle.
The Dash never had allowed so many goals in a game as they did in the 5-1 loss to Seattle Reign FC at Memorial Stadium. They had allowed four only four times, and those were all in the expansion season of 2014.
The four-goal loss tied for the worst in team history.
Seattle scored in the 17th, 26th and 29 minutes to bury the Dash before they realistically could think about getting their first point in the series.
