With the opening of the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup just nine days away, Concacaf and BBVA Compass Stadium executives announced today that the Group C doubleheader on June 21 has sold out.
This makes BBVA Compass Stadium the second venue in the 2019 Gold Cup to sell out, along with Allianz Field in Minneapolis. The 2019 tournament will be the fourth edition to feature matches at BBVA Compass Stadium. Houston will also host a quarterfinal doubleheader at NRG Stadium on Saturday, June 29.
“We are extremely excited that this double header has sold out in advance,” said Stadium Executive Vice President and General Manager Juan Rodriguez.
