Houston Dash forward Chioma Ubogagu was voted the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Player of the Week by the NWSL Media Association for Week 4 of the 2016 NWSL season.
Ubogagu, 23, had a goal and one assist to help the Dash earn a 2-1 victory over FC Kansas City at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City. It was the team’s first win on the road this season.
The London, England native scored her first goal with the Dash in the 70th minute when she settled a Rachel Dalypass inside the Kansas City penalty box and took a nice touch around the defender to score near post.
