Andrew Wenger has decided to call it a career. Friday, Wenger posted his good-bye to the game after deciding to walk away eight years into his career. He has spent the last three seasons with the Houston Dynamo. During his time on the field Wenger has started as a forward, midfielder and defender.
Wenger was drafted number one in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by the Montreal Impact. He has played in 181 games in MLS and started in 115 games. He scored 23 goals and 15 assists in his time in the league.
“We’d like to thank Andrew for his hard work, dedication and commitment, both on and off the field, since joining the Houston Dynamo,” said Dynamo Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Jordan in the team release.
