2016 MLS Draft: Houston Dynamo draft T.J. Casner

The 2016 MLS SuperDraft resumed on Tuesday and Houston had the 47th overall pick. In the third round Houston used their pick to select T.J. Casner, a forward out of Clemson University.

In 2015, Casner scored 10 goals and four assists for the Tigers and won First Team All-ACC honors. Casner is a versatile player who can play multiple attacking positions. He is also a physical player who uses his pace and strength to get up the field with the ball.

The forward was ranked #37 on Top Drawer Soccer's final big board and at #30 on SBI MLS Draft Big Board 4.
