Despite having no events on Sunday, Easter weekend remained busy for Cougars athletics. Baseball pulled off a sweep over George Washington University, softball opened conference play and track and field traveled to Rice University for one of its first outdoor meets of the season.

In their final tune-up before the big matchup against No. 2 Texas A&M University on Tuesday, the No. 16 Cougars who are 16-7 completed their three-game sweep over the George Washington Colonials following a 5-2 victory on Friday and a 14-0 stomping on Saturday at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
