It’s another packed weekend for the Cougars as four teams compete to keep postseason hopes alive as they delve deeper into the meat of the schedule. The baseball, softball, tennis and track teams will all try to capture victories this weekend.
Baseball
The No. 24 Cougars dropped nine spots in the standings after losing two of three games against East Carolina University last weekend. Coming off a 4-1 loss to McNeese State University on Tuesday, they will look to rebound against American Athletic Conference foe University of Central Florida for a three-game series at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
