No. 4 Houston held off a furious 21-point comeback from Texas A&M Saturday afternoon, needing clutch buckets from junior forward Ja’Vier Francis and sophomore guard Emanuel Sharp to escape the Toyota Center undefeated with a 70-66 victory.
The Aggies worked a 21-point UH all the way down to just three with 90 seconds to play when junior guard Wade Taylor IV buried his fifth three of the half to tie it up at 63.
