The 42nd ranked women’s golf team is tied for fourth place following the second round of the University of Central Florida Challenge, its first outing of the spring season.
Led by junior Emily Gilbreth and sophomore Megan Thothong, the Cougars equaled their total round score from yesterday and sit at +14 strokes over par, just six strokes back of the leader.
Gilberth and Thothong are tied for sixth place in the tournament, both at just +1 after shooting just one over par rounds.
They also sit just four strokes back of tournament leader, Michelle Butler from the University of Missouri, and F.
