The Houston Cougars fell to the Texas Tech University Red Raiders on the final day of the Texas Tech Fall Invitational (31-29, 15-25, 20-25, 23-25).
Despite the Cougars taking the first set in a comeback, the Red Raiders would take the next three sets to clinch the match.
Even in the loss, a number of Cougars had a strong day.
Freshman outside hitter Brookah Palmer had another great game as she registered 26 kills and 13 digs for her second 20+ kill game in three career appearances.
For her performance at the tournament, Palmer was named to the all-tournament team, and was joined by her teammate, junior middle blocker Hunter Wise.
