The Cougars went back to work this week looking to build on the winning tradition they established last season.
After a stellar season, the Cougars have a target on their backs, but they’re ready and willing to face the challenge and keep moving forward.
“It’s different now since you have a marker on your head in terms of doing something that was very unique,” defensive coordinator Todd Orlando said. “Obviously, we play a great team: Oklahoma, to open up the season. That’s what we’re battling, and it’s human nature to want to look at it and say ‘You know, I feel good about what we did,’ but hopefully the guys understand how hard they worked to put themselves in position to win a championship.
