Cougars continue winning streak, hang up 14 runs

The 9thranked Cougar baseball team rattled off another win in the early part of the season, hanging a 14-1 win over McNeese State University on Tuesday.

Thanks to 13 hits and a lights-out performance from the pitching staff, the Cougars improved to 4-0 on the season.

Freshman first baseman Joe Davis led the way for UH offensively, batting three for five with two doubles and a home run, ringing up five RBI and two runs on the night.

Sophomore right fielder Clay Casey also showed power as he belted a home run of his own, adding two RBI and two runs.
