With the regular season wrapped up, the Cougars are preparing to host the Temple University Owls in the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship game on Saturday.
UH completed the season with an 11-1 record overall and a 7-1 record in the AAC, while Temple finished 10-2 and 7-1 respectively.
Houston clinched possession of the West division title last weekend with a 52-31 win over the United States Naval Academy at home, while Temple earned first in the East with a 27-3 win over the University of Connecticut in Philadelphia.
The winner will earn the AAC championship title.
