It was a sour weekend for the Cougars as three programs combined to go 0-4, highlighted by the football team losing its first game of the season Saturday.

Football
The now No. 13 Cougars (5-1, 2-1) couldn’t stop the Naval Academy Midshipmen’s rushing attack en route to a 46-40 loss Saturday afternoon in Annapolis, Maryland.
Football surrendered 306 rushing yards to the uncanny triple-option offense of the 17-point underdog Midshipmen.
The Cougars’ defense came in to the game with the nation’s top rush defense, allowing just 42 yards per game.
