Atlanta Braves are trying to rid themselves of bad contracts in Michael Bourn and Nick Swisher.
The Atlanta Braves are shopping outfielders Michael Bourn, Nick Swisher and Cameron Maybin, according to a report from Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports on Twitter. Rosenthal goes on to say that Braves' GM John Coppolella denied that this was the case with Maybin.
This week has featured GM meetings and with all the baseball world focused on Boca Raton right now, it is common for there to be slight scews in reports or teams not wanting to tip their hands.
