Athletic director Chris Pezman told SportsTalk790 on Tuesday afternoon that he is confident that the upcoming 2020 college football season will be played even if it has to be delayed until the spring.
“I am confident we are going to find a way through this,” Pezman said. “We’ll be able to play the (football) season whether it’s pushed back a little bit or the idea of playing in the spring (which has been mentioned as a possibility).”
With sports across the world on hold, football both at the collegiate level and in the NFL has remained optimistic that its season will still be able to be played close to its regular schedule.
