The 25-year-old, Tyler White is set to make his Major League debut after winning a job on the active roster during Spring Training.
White led the Houston Astros with 18 hits this spring and in 19 games, batted .353 (18x51) with 3 doubles, 3 homers, 12 RBI and a 1.031 OPS (.443 OBP/.588 SLG), impressive after being named the Most Valuable Player of the Dominican Winter League this offseason after hitting .297 (47x158) with 10 doubles, a .914 OPS (.421 OBP/.494 SLG) and a league leading seven home runs for Estrellas de Oriente.
White was named the 2015 MiLB.
