1976 - Labor lockout ends

After just 17-days, the MLB ended a labor lockout and opened camps back up, allowing for no regular season games to be missed during the 1976 season.

2008 - Astros send the Dodgers away in heartbreak

After playing in Vero Beach, Florida since the 1940s, the Dodgers moved away from “Dodgertown” after playing one last game against the Astros that they went on to lose 12-10. They even had the National Anthem played before the game by one of the players that pitched in the first game ever played there, Eighty-one year old Carl Erskine.
