Spencer Arrighetti came back down to earth today. Although he has shown a lot of promise this year, it would be unfair to expect a prospect of his status to perform like he has the last few starts. Nevertheless, the Astros offense rebounded well to make it a competitive game.
Arrighetti did give up a run in the first inning, but he did not look that bad in the process. After allowing a two out full-count walk to Guerrero Jr, who reached second on a wild pitch, Spencer gave up an RBI single to Springer.
Spencer did manage to put up a zero in the second, but ran into a lot of trouble in the third.
