The Astros comeback falls short, drop 2nd game of series vs Blue Jays

The Astros couldn’t make it two in a row against the Blue Jays, as they dropped Saturday’s game 8-4. Even though they attempted to come back in the late innings, it wasn’t enough for them. Despite having Cristian Javier on the mound and enjoying another good effort from the heart of the lineup, the series is now tied 1-1.

After being wonderful at home, Javier didn’t have his best outing this time. For a good portion of the game, he was kind of around the zone and didn’t have his usual command. Across 5 1/3 innings, the young righty allowed four hits —including two home runs—, five earned runs, walked four, and struck out eight hitters, while seeing his ERA climb to 2.
