It’s only three games into the second half of the 2015 season, but already the Astros and Rangers face a game Sunday that, for better or worse, could help define the balance of the American League West playoff race for what may become an increasingly heated Interstate 45 rivalry.
Astros ace Dallas Keuchel takes the mound at 1:10 p.m. at Minute Maid Park against Rangers righthander Yovani Gallardo in the rubber match of a three-game set that Saturday night featured a bench-clearing round of pushing, harsh words and, presumably, unkind thoughts in the ninth inning of the Rangers’ 7-6 win.
