ST. PETERSBURG -- Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr. finally made himself at home at Tropicana Field.
McCullers, a native of Tampa, Fla., threw seven scoreless innings to pick up his first career win in three starts at Tampa Bay, while Jake Marisnick hit a solo homer in the fifth, leading the Astros to their franchise-record-tying 11th consecutive road victory, a 1-0 win over the Rays on Thursday.
The Astros (55-28) won for the 18th time in their past 21 games, posting their eighth shutout of the season.
