Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Astros take Player of the Month, Pitcher of the Month, Rookie of the Month

The Houston Astros swept the monthly awards in July. Yuli Gurriel was named as Player of the Month, Gerrit Cole named Pitcher of the Month for the second straight month, and Yordan Alvarez named Rookie of the Month, also for the second consecutive month.

As the graphic above shows, Gurriel hti.398 for July, with 12 home runs and a 1.264 OPS.

Yordan Alvarez hit .333, with five home runs and a 1.045 OPS.

Fun fact, via mhatter. The only month in 2017 in which Aaron Judge did not win Rookie of the Month was July.
