Yesterday’s game with the Phillies was a rain-out, but there was lots of other big news for the Astros. Last night Alex Bregman agreed to an extension that would pay him $100 million through his age 30 season with the Stros. Alex Pressly also signed a two year extension. See article here.
The Astros made more Spring Training cuts. The only one slightly unexpected was that of Cionel Perez, still believed to be in contention for left-handed reliever. This leaves only Framber Valdez and Reymin Guduan competing for the last spot in the rotation and the 25th spot on the roster.
