A security guard collapsed in right field Saturday at Minute Maid Park at the start of the Astros’ pregame ceremony to honor Hall of Famer Craig Biggio.
Medical personnel and Astros trainer Nate Lucero immediately tended to the security guard, who was later put on a stretcher and taken off the field.
The Astros announced during the game that the security guard was responsive and taken to a local hospital.
