The Houston Astros are open to trading first baseman Jon Singleton, according to Ken Rosenthal (Fox Sports). Click here for the video.
Jon Singleton, 23, is hitting .171 with a .486 OPS in 35 at-bats at the major league level this season.
The Singleton tidbit comes at the way end of Rosenthal’s notes, and it was brought up in regards to the Astros looking at Carlos Gomez of the Brewers. It’s no secret that the Astros have a hole at first base and Singleton hasn’t done a good job when given the chance this season.
