According to Jerry Crasnick (ESPN), the Astros are among a few teams talking about adding free agent Alex Gordon.
The Chicago Cubs and Baltimore Orioles were also mentioned in Crasnick’s report and there will likely be another three more teams, if not more, that will be in the running for Gordon’s services.
The current 31-year old (32 in February) hit .271 with 13 home runs and an .809 OPS in 104 games for the Kansas City Royals last season.
Gordon missed almost two months of baseball following a groin injury he suffered in July.
