Rasmus still on mend from infected bug bite

Alex Bregman didn't waste much time on the "first pro game" aspect of his debut Friday night, moving on to collect his first professional hit in the ninth inning of Class A Quad Cities' 4-3 extra-innings win in Cedar Rapids.

The No. 2 overall pick by the Astros in the 2015 Draft, Bregman hit the field in eastern Iowa a little more than 24 hours after being introduced to the media at Houston's Minute Maid Park. Bregman made good contact against the Kernels, lining out three times before picking up his lone hit in a 1-for-5 night for the Bandits, who sealed the Midwest League's first-half championship last week.
