Preston Tucker’s hot start with Class AAA Fresno not being ignored by Astros

SAN DIEGO — The Astros know what Preston Tucker’s doing with Class AAA Fresno. He didn’t get the call-up Monday for a bench job that went to L.J. Hoes instead.

The lefthanded hitting Tucker entered Monday hitting .314 with a .360 on-base percentage and a .643 slugging percentage. He hit his eighth home run of the season in the fifth inning Monday against Class AAA Reno, a Diamondbacks affiliate.
