Wednesday night is a night Astros outfielder Preston Tucker won’t forget. He had his first multi-homer game against the Boston Red Sox.
“First home run I was just trying to get on base get something going,” Tucker said. “The second one I know we had (Jose) Altuve and I was just trying to get him in any way I could. Things worked out pretty well.”
Tucker’s homers propelled the Astros to a 4-2 victory. His average is up to .264 to go along with eight homers on the year. His latest offensive breakout might be attributed to batting second in the lineup.
