Peacock cleared to resume baseball activities

HOUSTON -- Brad Peacock played catch prior to Houston's series opener against Arizona on Friday, and the right-hander has been cleared for baseball activities following a bout with hand, foot and mouth disease.

"I feel great, I feel good now. I have the last couple of days," Peacock said. "I just had a couple of blisters on my hand, feet, face. It wasn't too fun."

The Astros reliever said he got sick after the first game of the series in Boston on Sept. 7.

"I got to the hotel and felt pretty bad," Peacock said.
