The Lancaster JetHawks catcher, 22-year-old, Garrett Stubbs, the former PAC 12 Defensive Player of the Year and Johnny Bench Award winner for being the best catcher in college ball in 2015, went 1x5 on Wednesday to extend his hit streak to 10. The streak ties Bobby Boyd for the longest on the club this season he's hitting .343 (12x35) with two doubles, a home run and six RBIs during the streak. His home run in last Saturday's game was the first of this professional career.
Stubbs was drafted by the Houston Astros in the eighth round of the 2015 Draft out of Southern California.
