It’s been awhile since I’ve written anything for the Crawfish Boxes, and it will be awhile still before I write anything of substance. But I had the pleasure of attending the 2024 Home Run Derby last night, so I thought I would write it up.
I’ve never attended the Derby before or the All-Star Game, (to which I’m going tonight), but I have been to Globe Life Field once before, for Game 5 of the 2020 World Series. (If I could have one Astros game back, certainly 2019 World Series Game 7 would top the list, followed by 2023 ALCS Game 6, but 2020 ALCS Game 7 ranks up there.
