Major League Baseball announced that the postseason will begin on Oct. 6 with the American League wild card game. The National League wild card will be held Oct. 7.
Both AL Division Series will begin on Oct. 8, and the American League Championship Series will start Oct. 16. The two NL Division Series start Oct. 9, and the NLCS will begin Oct. 17.
The World Series will start Oct. 27.
