Astros catcher Max Stassi dedicated his first major league home run to two of his first cousins Chari and Andrea after the Astros beat the A’s 10-6.
“It felt great,” Stassi said of his leadoff home run to right in the eighth inning. “I’ve been playing with a little heavy heart recently. I have had a couple of cousins who lost their husbands in the last couple of weeks, so I dedicate that one to them.
“It was pretty special for me. One of my cousins lost her husband about two weeks ago, and another one lost him about three nights ago.
