SEATTLE -- Even without star sluggers Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa and George Springer, the Astros had no problem flashing some impressive power Wednesday afternoon.
Marwin Gonzalez ripped a two-out solo homer in the second off Mariners starter Wade LeBlanc, and Jake Marisnick followed a single by J.D. Davis with a two-run homer to center field to give the Astros a 3-0 lead. Marisnick was called up from Triple-A Fresno prior to the game.
Gonzalez's solo smash Gonzalez took LeBlanc deep again in the fourth inning for his third career multi-homer game.
