Lance McCullers to make his first rehab start Monday night in Corpus Christi

Rehabbing Astros RHP Lance McCullers is slated to start Monday night for the Corpus Christi Hooks, at home at Whataburger Field, first pitch at 7:05 PM, CT. McCullers, who was sidelined this spring due to shoulder soreness, will be followed on the hill by RHP Cy Sneed.

McCullers, along with right-handers Michael Feliz and Vince Velasquez, were promoted directly from Corpus Christi to Houston last year. McCullers led all AL rookies in ERA (3.22), opponent batting average (.226) and strikeouts per 9 innings (9.24). He became the first pitcher in Houston history to allow 3 earned runs or less in 20 of his first 22 starts.
