Two days after being hit on the outside of his right knee by an Ubaldo Jimenez fastball, Jason Castro was back in the Astros lineup on Wednesday, with just one game missed.
“Woke up yesterday actually feeling better and then today even better than that,” Castro said. “So I’m pretty happy with kind of the way it’s going so far based on the way it could’ve been.”
Castro went down in pain when the Jimenez fastball caught him Monday in the opener of a four-game series with the Orioles but he managed to stay in the game for a time before exiting.
