CLEVELAND -- The last time we saw Brett Oberholtzer in an Astros uniform he was walking off the mound at Minute Maid Park in the second inning after being ejected from throwing at Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez on June 27.
That incident helped punch Oberholtzer's ticket to Triple-A Fresno, where he made one start, but he returned Thursday night to the Astros and suffered the loss in a 3-1 setback to the Indians in the series finale at Progressive Field.
Oberholtzer carried a shutout into the sixth inning before giving up a home run to Francisco Lindor and back-to-back doubles to Michael Brantley and Ryan Raburn to get lifted from the game.
