When the Astros traded right fielder Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs, the fans were heartbroken and devastated. Most did not care what they got back in return, they just wanted Tucker back.
But, as Spring Training has rolled on, fans have started to come around thanks to the play of one man; Astros’ top prospect Cam Smith. So far in Spring Training, Smith is putting up crazy numbers. As I am writing this, Smith has played in eight games and is hitting .529 with an OPS over 1.600. Getting all of his reps so far at third, Smith looks to be trying to find a place for himself on the opening day roster at just 22 years-old.
