The Astros took game one against the Red Sox behind a strong outing by Justin Verlander and some late offense powered by Josh Reddick and Yuli Gurriel. Game two was more of a battle as the Red Sox jumped on Gerrit Cole early and were able to hold on for a 7-5 win.
