The Houston Astros received late home runs from both Colby Rasmus and George Springer in the 6-2 win over the Seattle Mariners Sunday afternoon, ending their brief two-game losing streak.
Evan Gattis – who went deep in yesterday’s loss – put his team on the board during the top of the first inning with an RBI single to left field to drive in Springer. Outfielder Nelson Cruz evened things out at one apiece on an RBI single of his own shortly after Gattis gave Houston the lead and also homered on Saturday.
