Precious commodity and All-Star catcher from the Miami Marlins, J.T. Realmuto, continues generating a lot of interest from teams across the league. After the signing of Michael Brantley on Monday, the Houston Astros just inserted themselves back into the mix, according to a tweet from Brian McTaggart of MLB.com.
The 2019 free agent class of catchers still has some fairly known names on it. Yasmani Grandal, Johnathan Lucroy and even former Astros DH, Evan Gattis are all players that are still looking for teams. Odds are, they will each have one by the time spring training rolls around.
