While Dallas Keuchel has improved over the last several starts, 2015 Cy Young Keuchel hasn’t been here this season.
Doug Fister and his 3.64 ERA have been a pleasant surprise this season, but Lance McCullers leads all starters with a 3.61 ERA, too high of a number for a team with postseason aspirations.
If an ace is available, rest assured the Astros will be calling. The problem, however, is that every other team will be on the phone as well.
As of now, it seems as if Chris Sale and Chris Archer aren’t available.
